Jackson Gentry

Jackson was raised on his family’s plantation in South Georgia. From early in life Jackson got a hands on education of all aspects of agriculture, forestry and wildlife management. After his family sold the plantation in the early 1990’s, Jackson stayed on with the new owners as the Turf Manager. In this position, he marketed and sold turf to the elite golf courses and residential landscapers in the southeast and western United States.

In 2008, turf followed the housing market in a decline. Jackson started a trucking company to primarily serve local ag producers with transportation of peanuts, corn and cotton. During this period, Jackson and his wife Lindsay along with their son Charlie acquired a coastal property in Beaufort County, South Carolina. They fell in love with the coast and all it has to offer. Jackson’s specialties include waterfront, plantations, ag, turf and forestry.
