Derek Goddard

Derek Goddard was born and raised in West Tennessee. He spent his summers growing up raising cattle and baling hay, learning the value of hard work early on. Derek has a lifelong passion for sports, coaching, and spending time outside—especially with his wife, Molly, their daughter, Madison, and twin boys, Daniel and Jordan. Hunting has been his greatest passion, with sports a close second. For over 35 years, Derek has hunted deer, ducks, and turkey across a variety of landscapes.

Derek earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Memphis. After graduation, he served as a project manager on the Gulf Coast overseeing a hotel reconstruction after hurricane Katrina. Upon completion of the project, Derek started his own concrete company, before selling it three years later. His career path then shifted and an opportunity to become an insurance agent presented itself, which he has done for the past 13 years. In 2019, Derek also launched a construction company focused on addressing water drainage issues and land clearing needs for local property owners.

Derek’s diverse professional background enables him to connect with a wide range of people and understand their needs in real estate and beyond. He considers it a blessing to help others and takes great pride in doing so.
