Growing up on a farm is what made Alex who he is today. From an early age he spent a lot of time in the combine or swather learning what it takes to get our food to our table. Many of his most cherished memories are either in the field with his grandpa during harvest or hunting and fishing with family.
Alex has been a High School football, basketball, and track coach for the previous 8 years. That in addition to leadership roles throughout his community of Great Bend Kansas, has instilled a great work ethic and great understanding of how to work with people. Alex understands that relationships are everything and he looks forward to not only helping you buy or sell your property, but he looks forward to becoming lifelong friends.
He fully understands the importance of each property and all of the memories and stories that each one has attached to it. His hopes are that he can help you cherish those memories, while finding the next generation and owner to uphold and cherish them as well.
In his free time, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife Kylie and their 4 kids 4 and under! He loves hunting and fishing and can’t wait to share those experiences with his kids when they get old enough.
Alex is proud to be a part of Hayden Outdoors and looks forward to serving you in any way possible!
“What you see depends on how you view the world. To most people it’s just dirt, to me it’s potential.”
Our family had a piece of land that’s been ours for three generations. We decided to sell it and it is in Kansas. We do not live in Kansas, my sister and myself, I live in California. I knew the land had been used as a walk-in hunting property. There was some emotional attachment to it as well. I started looking for sites to sell And came across Hayden outdoors. And then scrolled through all of their agents. I wanted someone local and he seemed to have a background similar to our family. Farmer went to high school locally etc. I found Alex Birney. Talking to him over the phone , I knew he was the right person he was professional, empathetic to my emotional attachment to the land, interested in the family history, extremely efficient During the process, Alex always responded to me right away to me texting him, even during the time he and his wife are giving birth to their child. I Really feel like I know Alex even though we’ve never met. He handled the entire transaction in such a way that I feel like we became friends. I can’t recommend him highly enough!
Coming to the decision to sell our family ground after our Mother's passing could have been difficult and challenging for us. Fortunately, we reached out to Alex Birney for guidance and found his expertise above the highest standards in his role as a Real Estate Agent. More than our "agent", Alex stepped in as a trusted friend in every step of the process. His suggestions on how to market the property was spot on. While the sale of acreage was actually sold before it was posted, Alex continued to work through the steps of listing, marketing and contracts as if the property had been on the list for weeks/months. Alex is keenly knowledgeable of local real estate trends and has a real feel for our local rural farming community. Even after the final signatures Alex has reached out to us to "check in" to follow up on we are coping with the finishing business at hand. Thank You....Alex and God's Blessings to you and your family. Take care friend................... GO CATS!!!
