Justin Derga is a Broker associate in the great state of South Dakota. Justin grew up in eastern Iowa where he developed a solid work ethic early in life. He was taught “Be the first person to show up at work and the last to go home.” by his grandfather at an early age. Justin moved to South Dakota in 2010 and began his career managing public hunting lands for Pheasants Forever as a habitat specialist. He now oversees 7 other habitat specialists in South Dakota that are responsible for over 75,000 acres statewide. His love for open country and abundant wildlife brought him to South Dakota and is the reason that he now calls South Dakota home.

Justin started his hunting and fishing guide service in 2012. He has since found a home as a top guide at one of the most coveted pheasant hunting lodges in South Dakota. Justin’s guide experience also includes getting clients trophy whitetail, mule deer, and turkey, as well as countless live wells full of walleye from Lake Oahe. Justin’s passion for the outdoors, extensive background in building and maintaining top of the line habitat, and willingness to put in the work make him an exceptional agent for sellers and buyers.

Justin married his wife Jenita in 2021. Jenita is a grazing and rangeland management consultant. She travels throughout the western US offering advice to ranchers and livestock producers on how to get the most out of their grazing lands, enhancing the profitability of their overall operation. Justin and Jenita live in Onida, South Dakota, and love to hunt, fish, golf, and spend time in the outdoors together.
