James Mansfield is a 37 year real estate veteran with commercial leasing, development, investment sales and brokerage management experience. A Colorado native, James and his wife have relocated their residence to Laramie, Wyoming at the foot of the Snowy Mountain Range.

James’ love of Wyoming and the rural life is shared with his wife, who together have been frequent visitors of Wyoming for fly fishing, horse riding, clay shooting and canoeing. Establishing a home base allows easy access and intimate knowledge of the southern Wyoming and northern Colorado farm and ranch markets. James is teamed with Jaci Cole, a Centennial, WY resident and Hayden Outdoors agent, specializing in rural residential, hunting, waterfront and timberland properties.

Since 2011, James has been the Senior Managing Broker of Cushman & Wakefield and Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors. Pinnacle, Colorado’s largest privately held commercial real estate brokerage firm with more than fifty brokers, produced in excess of $5b in transaction volume under James since 2016. Prior to Pinnacle, James was the Market Leader of Denver’s Cushman & Wakefield office, a top institutional firm.

James also has commercial development and investment sales expertise gained from working with Opus Northwest, completing office, industrial, retail projects throughout the Denver metro area. Prior to Opus, Mansfield was the Director of Leasing for Brookfield, one of the nation’s largest institutional office owners, including Denver’s tallest building, the 56 story Republic Plaza.

James has also held a number of leadership positions serving as President of NAIOP’s 650 member Denver Chapter, Membership Chair of University of Colorado Real Estate Center, Mayor Webb’s Central Business District Council, Downtown Denver Partnership Office Council Chair. He is also the co-founder of NAIOP’s Winter Classic, an annual hockey and curling event that has raised in excess of $250,000 for Children’s Hospital.

James is also a hockey play-by-play announcer for USA Hockey Youth National Championships, back-up for the University of Denver Pioneers and National Geographic’s Breaking Bobby Bones Special.

James and his wife Jayme, have three sons and two golden retrievers.
