John Wood was born in Florida and raised on a horse ranch in Elizabeth, Colorado by his mother Shirley, a successful real estate agent who taught John the importance of hard work, strong work ethic and commitment to a client.  John’s upbringing fostered his love of the West and outdoors. After graduation, John was a successful Toyota mechanic at John Elway Toyota in Denver where he escaped the city on the weekends to hunt wild birds and fish Gold Medal waters.  John’s love of water led him back to Florida where he was a Captain, taking others on in-shore and off-shore ocean fishing adventures for a decade. John’s love of the West and wide open spaces recently inspired him and his family to relocate to Lander, Wyoming, where he can create great outdoor memories with his wife and daughter.  John is very excited to be part of the Hayden Outdoors team and looks forward to helping clients with all of their real estate needs.
