When mom passed away we children decided to sell the home that had been in the family for over 70 years. We ultimately chose Hayden Outdoors with Mattison Ference as lead salesperson to handle the sale. Mattison made suggestions and helped us to prepare and display the outside appeal and inside warmth of the Sears built home. The open house and numerous personal walk through showings along with the online presence gave the property local and national exposure. This was done while still juggling the schedule of the on going ByWay House business. The effort came to fruition when a friendly retired couple from California decided to purchase the house and make Ord their home. Mattison navigated the emotional waters of three siblings transferring one families home to another family with the understanding and maturity of a seasoned agent. First I want to give a brief history of trying to sell our property. My wife (Sheri) and I had been trying to sell our property on our own for about 3 years. Then we met Casey Mayer, a New Mexico Broker working under Hayden Outdoors. We contacted Casey by way of Brent Hedrick in Colorado, also a Hayden Outdoors Broker. After meeting Casey we decided we needed her experience and drive to help us get our property sold. Sheri and I noticed right off that Casey is one of a kind first as a person and second, had the knowledge and drive of selling property that we desperately needed. We decided to list our property with Hayden Outdoors which was a wise decision for us. A week or so after the property listed we had a serious buyer. As we worked through the selling process Casey was always on top of any issues that arose and we had many issues selling a 5 generation ranch. I can’t expound enough of the tremendous professionalism and knowledge she has in her line of business. There was no problem too big to resolve. Also, Casey has a great family to support her work. It is a pleasure knowing them. They are great assets to their community. Sorry for the delay in getting this rating of performance for being the selling agent of our property, buyer’s agent of our new properties and the company which you work for, “Hayden Outdoors”.  A brief history: My wife and I tried to sell our property in New Mexico for 3 years on our own with no success. In viewing a potential property we wanted to purchase in Colorado we met Brent Hedrick, a Broker for Hayden Outdoors. After visiting with Brent, I told my wife we needed to get him on our side and decided to list our property with Hayden Outdoors because they seemed to be like-minded and had more properties listed similar to our property than any other listing firms. Within one week of our listing, we had a serious buyer and closed on our property 4 months later. Our property was a 5th generation ranch and in working through the process of the legal matters in the sale we encountered several hurdles in our property that had to be fixed before our property could be sold. I could tell right from the beginning that Brent was experienced and a professional in the business and he seemed to be on the same wavelength as us. Getting our property sold was his top priority and there was no problem that was too big to solve. He was always concerned first about our well-being before carrying on the business of the sale. As our Buyers Agent, our interests were his top priority.  A broker who will help you move into your new home is rare. Brent spent a full day helping us unload 3 trailers into our new home.
