Location

The City of Nyssa is an agricultural community  located along the Snake River within an hour of the Boise metro area.  This quaint town is usually very peaceful but every year its residents get together to celebrate the annual Thunderegg Days and Festival.  In the other direction is the state park.  Lake Owyhee State Park sits along the shores of the Owyhee Reservoir and is known for its abundant wildlife.  Visitors primarily enjoy camping or boating, however some people are known to explore and hike the surrounding badlands of Oregon.
