Property Description

This property consists of 1920 deeded acres in Fremont County, Colorado.  It lies just south of the town of Florence and just north of the town Wetmore, right off of Hwy 67.  The ingress and egress to the land is openly accessible year round through the well maintained County Road 103.  There are a handful of homes that run contiguous to the property with inhabitants that enjoy large parcels that they live on.   

The desert like surroundings create a picturesque environment that contains natural canyons and cliffs that meander throughout.  It's location is at the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range, where lush vegetation abounds consisting of grass, shrubs, pine, spruce, fir, aspen, and junipers.   Many build sites can be found on the land, and the creative mind can see endless possibilities for development or recreation.  Several animals live and utilize this area.  On any given day, elk, deer, antelope, and many small game animals can be found.  On occasion, bear, mountain lion, and other predators can be seen. The property has not been hunted on, but offers the opportunity to gain owner tags in GMU 69.
