Range View Estates is an exclusive new development along the Front Range of Colorado located in the town of Mead. Attractions

Take a beautiful drive up the hill to Estes Park, which is the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, the third most popular National Park in the country! Tourists find a touristy downtown in Estes Park, charming walks around Lake Estates, the famous Stanley Hotel, and numerous restaurants and places of interest. Rocky Mountain Elk meander through town during the fall months with golden aspens as a backdrop, and bull elk are heard bugling around their harem of cows.

Little Thompson Water District

The Little Thompson Water District is the water provider for Range View Estates. The Little Thompson Water District was created for the purpose of providing water facilities and services for the inhabitants of the District in 1961. They began serving domestic water to a 300-square mile area in Larimer, Weld and Boulder counties in 1962. The service area is generally bounded by the City of Loveland on the north, Longs Peak Water District on the south, the City of Greeley, the South Platte River and the St. Vrain River on the east, and the foothills on the west. It expanded to include the former Arkins Water Association in 1999 and the Town of Mead in 2002.

Education

Local schools include Mead Elementary, Mead Middle School, and Mead High School. Boulder is about 40 minutes away and is home to the University of Colorado Buffaloes. Colorado State University is situated home in Fort Collins and gives downtown a vibrant feel. Just east in Greeley is where University of Northern Colorado calls home, home of the Bears.

Range View Estates is centrally located in Northern Colorado with easy access to the I-25 Corridor. The Town of Mead is near Berthoud, Colorado, just 40 minutes south of Fort Collins, 30 minutes north of Denver and about 45 minutes from Denver International Airport. Boulder is about 40 minutes away and is home to the University of Colorado Buffaloes.

Denver, known for its sports centric downtown, microbreweries and excellent dining, is a short drive south down I-25. Many commuters make the trip to the financial district by hopping on I-25 a couple miles down the road. The privacy of Range View Estates is the perfect retreat back to your custom home where you can relax and unwind.

Weld County

Range View Estates is located in Northern Colorado, Weld County is home to charming small towns, thriving cities and approximately 4,000 square miles of wide-open skies and beautiful mountain views. Its history is rooted in the land and the western heritage runs deep.  The county began in the early 1800’s and there were many trappers, traders, miners, ranchers and then eventually farmers.  Weld County has become Colorado’s leading producer of cattle, grain and sugar beets, and is the richest agricultural county in the United States east of the Rocky Mountains, and the fourth richest overall nationally. It is also becoming more important as a milk producing county, with close to half of the state’s cattle. Weld County is also an important area of oil and natural gas production.
