Nathan Smither

Nathan Smither is a licensed real estate agent in South Dakota. Growing up in Winner, he was surrounded by livestock, large pastures, and the traditions of agriculture that shaped his passion for land and people. From an early age, Nate was involved in 4H, where he gained an appreciation for family, farming, and community. He raised cattle alongside his grandpa, learning responsibility, hard work, and the importance of helping others—values he still carries today.

When Nate isn’t assisting clients, you’ll often find him outdoors—whether planting food plots, hunting, or simply enjoying nature. For him, it’s not always about pulling the trigger, but about the experience of being connected to the land.

After high school, Nate earned his Agricultural Science degree from South Dakota State University. During that time, he built relationships across the state and gained a deeper understanding of different types of agricultural operations. Following college, he started his own LLC as a fertilizer and seed salesman, using his background and expertise to help local farmers and ranchers succeed.

Today, as a husband and proud father of a baby girl, Nate values family more than ever. He understands that agriculture and land ownership are about more than property—they’re about legacy. His goal is to help families buy and sell with confidence while continuing the traditions of stewardship, conservation, and passion for agriculture that have been passed down for generations.
