Amy R Vigil is the in-house Accountant for Hayden Outdoors based in our Windsor, Colorado office. Amy brings over 25 years of Managerial accounting, Operations and Human Resource experience from construction companies, CPA firms, to real estate companies. Amy began her career working for a local construction company as an intern in the accounting department while attending school at the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in business Economics and Legal Studies. After graduation Amy went on to work for small family-owned businesses running the accounting and HR departments. She worked for several years for Starbucks opening and managing them inside of Targets. After working a couple years for a large company inside of an accounting department she went back to small business and opened a small flooring company with her family from the ground up. For the last 15 years she has worked as an accounting consultant, staff accountant with CPA firms and directing small business clients helping them with all their financial and operational needs in many industries that include non-profit, construction, boutiques, ecommerce, financial services and real estate companies. Her expertise in analyzing the financial and operations of small business clients helped them to succeed. In March of 2012 she received an MBA in Accounting while being a mom to three small children and running a family business.

She has been active in her community through the local schools and chamber of commerce and other non-profits and relationships her family has generated in the Windsor community and holding many leadership positions within. She enjoys community work and helping others and giving back to the community. Amy loves being involved with the local high schools and her church community and spending time watching her children do what they love to do. Outside of work, she has a passion for competitive sports, participating in softball and volleyball and bowling and watching her kids excel with sports. She has a newfound love of pickleball and enjoys fantasy sports. Amy cherishes spending time with her family, husband Phil, sons Phillip Jr and Cameron and daughter Mia, stepdaughter Kaylee and grandson Bentley and her boxer Izzy.
