I spent my childhood growing up on my family’s farm and ranch headquarters near McIntosh South Dakota. Our operations spanned several counties in South Dakota and North Dakota, even reaching into three western counties in Kansas.

As a kid I spent many days riding in tractors and pickups listening to my father and observing him deal with his day-to-day life. From a young age his values were instilled in me.

In my teenage years I began farming and ranching alongside my Dad. There I learned the importance of hard work, due diligence and timeliness. This lifestyle and experience allow me to relate to my Farmer and Rancher clients, bringing real world experience and knowledge of FSA programs, EQUIP projects and day to day operations on a scale from small to very large.

A passion of mine is looking at a new piece of ground and seeing the potential it has with a tweak here and there, or possibly a major project to improve efficiency and productivity.

In 2006, my family took advantage of opportunity and decided to close out the South Dakota operation and focus on Kansas. In Kansas we expanded the ranching aspect into three more counties and continued to grow the farming operations. I managed all aspects of the Kansas farms and ranches with an emphasis on developing new ranches into our program and improving farming practices on the tilled land.

Once again seeing opportunity in the market, my family decided to close out operations this time in Kansas, to reboot and invest in property in Nebraska. After moving to imperial Nebraska, in 2012 I joined the team at Ag West commodities, working with producers to manage risks with their grain and cattle. My customers spanned 5 states keeping true to my family tradition to “spread out” risk.

I grew to miss the land and seeing potential in the dirt, I decided to move my attention to real estate, joining the Hayden Outdoors Team. I feel my experiences can be used advantageously by both sellers and potential buyers by putting these two groups together to better serve the land and improve their own operations or investment portfolios. I cover Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota by design. These are the states I grew up in and they will always have a place in my heart. I know where my passion lies.
