Situated in the heart of Middle Park, the 1190 acre Weimer Ranch straddles some of the richest hunting grounds in the state. Large numbers 200-300 elk can be seen coming off of Elk and Grouse Mountain during the Colorado Rifle seasons and winter on the ranch. Located in CO GMU 18, over the counter elk archery and rifle tags are available to buy every year. Mule deer tags are through the draw and can be drawn every year also. In addition landowner buck tags can be allotted with this ranch each year. A conservation easement blankets the property protecting the ranching heritage and its sought after hunting grounds.
