Presenting Elk Valley, 8128 acres in North East Tennessee.
Located in Campbell County, Tennessee, 45 miles north of Knoxville and about 20 miles west of Lafollette, this tract is truly a once in a lifetime property. Over eight thousand continuous acres of mountain land with great road systems, ponds, streams and multiple places for homes or cabins. Elk are found on the property along with whitetail deer, eastern turkey, black bear, wild hogs and grouse. Turkey roost on the ridges and can be heard for miles in the mornings. Elk are also on the top feeding in the long grass meadows that have clover stands and small pines scattered throughout. Whitetail deer are in the bottoms and along the edges on logging roads and benches. Elk Valley is a hunters dream and must be seen to appreciate all of the hunting potential.
Commercially the timber potential in Elk Valley is very good. The property has been managed for timber and has some merchantable and pre merchantable timber on it. Elk Valley is also a tract with great mineral potential. Part of the property has been mined before for coal and there are still large deposits of coal including Blue Gem coal. Mining has always been a big part of Appalachain Mountains and this tract is no different. Currently there is no mining being done on the property but the permit is in progress.
Elk Valley is a dream property. Please give us a call for a private showing.
