Bruton Stables is located just off-of Interstate 25 via Exit #452 (Highway 72) in Raton, New Mexico. The positioning of the property within one-quarter mile of the interstate provides ease of access to both the boarding customer and local services.  Raton, New Mexico is located six-miles south of the Colorado state line at the base of scenic Raton Pass and the Sangre De Cristo mountain range.  The Historic Santa Fe Trail reaches its highest point along Raton Pass at over 7,800 feet.  Area attractions include; the historic Raton Museum, Shuler Theater, Raton Aquatic Center, Climax Canyon Park and Sugarite Canyon State Park.  For the equestrian, Sugarite Canyon State Park contains miles of riding trails to explore in some of the most scenic portions of the Northern New Mexico.
