Born and raised in the West, Skip Eastman enjoys living and working in northern Wyoming’s Big Horn Basin. He and his family live on a small ranch halfway between Cody, Wyoming, and Sheridan, Wyoming, in an area renowned for big game, upland and waterfowl birds, and blue-ribbon trout streams. He believes in land management that enhances agricultural values and wildlife habitat.
Before settling down on his own ranch in Wyoming, Skip worked on ranches throughout the Rocky Mountain West. He’s worked on projects involving wildlife management and hunting, conservation easements, and public land grazing.
Skip maintains a strong commitment to land, water and wildlife conservation that is paired with hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture. He is knowledgeable about Wyoming water rights, irrigation, hay production, weed management, and soils. He has designed and installed low-stress livestock handling facilities, grazing systems, and wildlife habitat enhancements; he brings these skills to help his clients with Wyoming ranch selection and management planning. Skip has some 25 years of experience in fine home building, historic restoration and construction management that make him a great resource in farm and ranch infrastructure.
In his free time, Skip enjoys getting horseback, camping, and fishing in the Bighorn National Forest near his home.
