Heath grew up on his family farm a few miles off the Savannah River where his family raised livestock and row cropped corn, peanuts, cotton and soybeans. He lives on the farm today. After graduating college with a forestry degree he became the pecan manager at Wade Plantation. In his early thirties Heath was given the opportunity to start his own pecan operation and eventually had orchards in four counties in Georgia.
Growing up on the farm he was given free range to hunt and fish and that set the mold for a lifelong passion for the outdoors and hunting. At Wade Plantation he was a trapper and wildlife manager before he graduated college. While farming Heath also managed the farms for big whitetail deer, turkey, dove and quail. Growing big whitetails for land owners, clients and himself has always been one of Heath’s proudest accomplishments.
In 2015 Heath had the opportunity to sell out his pecan farming operation and he became interested in the land business. In 2016 he decided to go full time and has loved it ever since. He was the top seller in the state of Georgia in 2017 for a national real estate company.
Heath has extensive knowledge of land in the south. From agriculture, forestry and livestock to wildlife management including hunting and fishing he is truly a land specialist who knows how help clients. Heath is honored to be with Hayden Outdoors and is looking forward to using the great tools that Hayden Outdoors provides to help clients buy and sell their properties.
