Yarmony Mountain- Colorado

Property Description:
Yarmony Mountain
Did you ever want to own your own mountain? Well, you can. This unique 340 acres takes in the top and one side of Yarmony Mountain. There are tales that the mountain got its name from Chief Yah Ma Nee, or near that name, and that he was buried along with his horse on the sacred mountain.

Most of the property is covered with Conifers and Aspen tress with glades of grass and a great place to hunt elk and deer on, and a great blue grouse area as well. The terrific views that you can have in any direction from this property are many and varied. From the easterly side of the property you look down on the Colorado River – to the north across an enormous valley which is just spectacular and off to the west is a long view towards the Flat Tops Wilderness area.

The property has some seeps and small springs that need developing and also you may need to clean the many old trails using your chain saw for ATV use. Not a lot of work to get the property in shape to really enjoy. There are a number of great locations for a cabin – just pick one. If you so desired, you could build your cabin from trees grown on the property.

All in all, a fun property to recreate on in many ways.
