North Pinon Springs- New Mexico
Available

Property Description:
Much of this region was contained within the Chaves Land grant established by the Spanish Crown in 1723. This high mixed wooded country has been home to elk, bear, deer, cougar, and turkey for thousands of years. Neighbors to the North are the Navajo nation and the Alamo Chapter of the Eastern Agency. These people moved to the region during two periods. The first was the Piro indians move by Spanish colonization in the 1600s, then the Navajo and the Apache in the mid 19 century located and remained in the area because of the mild climate and abundant game. Today cattle graze and watch the 21 century at a distance.
