Born and raised in Breckenridge, Colorado, Mike grew up hunting and fishing the Rocky Mountains. Mike graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Commercial Recreation and Tourism and seized the opportunity to pursue his passion for fishing. During his career in the recreation industry, Mike acted as a Manager and Guide at one of Alaska's premier fly-out lodges, obtained his pilot’s license, became a Sales Representative in the seven Mid-Atlantic States for some of the world's top fly-fishing manufacturers, and later became a Certified Casting Instructor with the Federation of Fly Fishers.
After many enjoyable years in the fishing industry, Mike took the opportunity to return to Colorado to work with Hayden Outdoors and combine his love of the outdoors with his extensive knowledge of the real estate market. Mike began as a Real Estate Broker in his hometown of Breckenridge, and quickly expanded to represent buyers and sellers all over the state. Mike's background, work ethic, and business sense helps make him one of the premier brokers in Colorado. It is his belief that the most important part of the business is being dedicated to his clients, as well as being committed to our Rocky Mountain communities and their future.
